 We at DAIKEN are striving to reduce formaldehyde in all our flooring materials, and have achieved the top rank of F☆☆☆☆ in standards. In addition, we offer flooring materials with high-level properties that consider health and control VOC emission levels, and tatami that absorbs and decomposes formaldehyde. We are actively making efforts to create healthy indoor living environments. |
We use anti-bacterial coating processes for flooring material, which tends to be unhygienic, to control the reproduction of bacteria. We help to create hygienic homes.
■Excellent antibacterial properties proved in a test on the antibacterial properties of flooring  The coating on the surface of the floor is composed of an inorganic antibacterial agent. It has been proved that our antibacterial processed flooring has excellent antibacterial properties that control the reproduction of E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus.  |
By combining an environmentally friendly wood board that uses trees from afforested areas and special MDF, we have created E Hardbase, an environmentally friendly eco-base material that goes one step further. As a base material used instead of south-sea wood boards, it greatly contributes to cutting CO2 emissions and protecting forests.
Special MDF that places little burden on the environment. The material is stable so we can deliver stable quality without any discrepancies. By combining New Pulapa with NEOTECHfine Coat, we have achieved a product that is highly scratch resistant, does not crack easily, is not browned by the sun, and is stain resistant.
New Pulapa, a specially treated decorative sheet that has been created by using DAIKEN’s unique Paper Plastic Combination (PPC) technology. By combining a base material of Ecobase FLOOR BOARD or E Hardbase with a top surface that is finished with NEOTECH Super Fine Coat, we have achieved a product that is highly scratch resistant, does not crack easily, and is water and stain resistant.
NEOTECH processing
To achieve a product with a beautiful luster and a matt wood feel that is scratch resistant and dirt resistant, we have condensed three types of processing into NEOTECH, for an ideal floor environment.
NEOTECH processing makes waxing a thing of the pastYou do not need to apply any wax. If you wish to apply wax, however, please use DK Wax Neo. Using other waxes may result in an uneven coating. *Please note that waxed floors will have the properties of the wax and not of the NEOTECH processing. By combining Super Fine Coat coating or Fine Coat coating with their beautiful luster, and Matte Coat coating with its elegant matte wood feel, with Scratch Guard features that give resistant to abrasion and scratches, and Stain Guard features, which eliminate the need to apply wax to prevent dirt from adhering, or polishing or maintenance, DAIKEN’s unique processing aims to offer ideal floor materials. |
Gently embracing your indoor environment, its relaxed luster is its characteristic. The smooth top surface is shiny and soft to the touch, and the beautiful transparency makes the room feel brighter. In addition, part of the product uses Super Fine Coat thick reinforced UV coating. With a luster that exceeds that of fine coating, the finish is like that of a beautiful mirror.
Characterized by the woodiness of natural wood, a more natural feel. The matte finish gives a relaxed feel to your interior spaces.
The top surface has Scratch Guard features meaning it is resistant to scratches that can be caused by slippers, vacuum cleaners, and toys. It helps the floor retain its beauty for even longer. It is also effective for preventing scratches to floors when doing work.

The top surface has a special coating that makes it flatter, and this helps prevent dirt from adhering and lets it retain its beauty for longer. In addition, because it is scratch and dirt resistant, it is easy to maintain and there is no need to apply wax to polish or maintain it.

Wood Plastic Combination (WPC) is DAIKEN’s unique processing technology in which wood is injected and filled with plastic to harden it.It enhances the distinctive beauty and texture of natural wood, while providing excellent abrasion resistance, scratch resistance and stain resistance. WPC processing can be applied to flooring material to cope with wheelchairs and we also offer products that are resistant to damaged caused by casters. |
This refers to the processing technology of filling wood with plastic to harden it. While keeping the distinctive beauty and texture of natural wood, it provides excellent abrasion resistance, scratch resistance and stain resistance. It can also be used with hot carpets since it is resistant to cracks caused by heat.
Casters fitted on items such as chairs or other types of furniture place a great deal of pressure on floor materials, and tend to cause dents and scratches on the top surface. WPC-W processing is WPC processing plus a special strengthening method for laminated wood. It is strong against dents and scratches in particular and offers caster-resistant properties.

Because this series has excellent crack resistant features that help to control cracks caused by heat, you can use them with a hot carpet without any worry.
For families that keep pets indoors, we have prepared flooring with improved ammonia resistant features, achieved by using a special decorative sheet on the top surface or conducting WPC processing.

DAIKEN’s WPC series or Dai-Hard series of flooring products do not undergo any surface swelling when you wipe them clean with a neutral detergent and are not easily discolored or damaged if any spilt water is left on them.
To avoid people slipping and possibly falling over, most of our floor materials are produced by optimizing the coefficient of slip resistance (C.S.R.) for their top surface. We have taken care to ensure our floors are safe and comfortable to use. In addition, we have also considered C.S.R. D’ for when pets will be using the floor and prepared floor materials that reduce the burden placed on the legs and loins.
